Xanthurian, I'm pretty sure that you have pretty good hand-eye coordination, so you reach out and snatch the falling torch easily. Then you try to open the door, but without the usual handle and the fact the door is set so close to the wall you are unable to get it to budge.
I go up the rope then ladder and try to open the door

ill try to pry open the trapdoor with my dagger and lyda should go to the top of the ladder to see whats there
